We have zero verified customer reviews. No review platform is installed, so there is no score, no count, no star rating and no rating markup anywhere on this site. Unrated quotes from named stylists and buyers do appear on our product pages, and they are exactly that — quotes, not a rating you can average. Until there are reviews we can verify, judge us on the published formulation, the published test method, the named licensed author and the pages where we rank competitors above ourselves.
There is no AggregateRating and no Review structured data on this page or anywhere else on this site, and no star rating appears on any product. The unrated quotes on our product pages carry no markup of any kind, which is why they cannot show up as stars in a search result. If you ever see a star on one of our listings, it is a bug. Tell us and we will remove it.
This is the page where a company usually shows you five stars and a wall of first names. We have no score to show you. No review platform is installed and populated on this site: no verified-buyer feed, no aggregate score, no count. Our product pages do carry a small number of unrated quotes from named stylists and buyers, collected directly by us and reproduced without editing — but a handful of quotes we gathered ourselves is not a rating, and we will not dress it up as one by attaching a number to it. So here is why there is no score on this page, and what to use in its place.
Why we are not going to fake them
It would be trivially easy to fill this page. Every company in this category has a testimonials block, and most were assembled the same way: ask happy customers for a quote, publish the good ones, quietly leave out the rest.
Think about what that corpus is worth as evidence. A solicited-and-filtered set of reviews tells you what the company chose to show you. It tells you nothing about the denominator, nothing about who was asked and did not reply, nothing about the person who had a bad move-up and never wrote in. A five-star average on a hundred reviews the seller curated is a weaker signal than a three-star average on a hundred the seller could not touch, and most readers already know it, which is why the testimonial block has stopped working on everybody.
The second reason is specific to this site. Every ranked page here asks you to trust claims about products we sell, made by the person who developed them. The only thing holding that up is that we do not print what we cannot substantiate. A fabricated review would demolish it in one line, and it would deserve to. So the rule has no exceptions: no testimonials, no quotes, no names, no star ratings, no counts, and no rating markup anywhere on this site until there is a verified corpus behind it.
The rule, with no exceptions
No star ratings, no aggregate score, no review counts, and no rating markup, until there is a verified corpus behind them. Unrated, attributed quotes are allowed and are labelled as what they are. Not a soft target, not a guideline. A line we would rather lose sales than cross.
What to judge us on in the meantime
Reviews are one form of evidence and not the strongest one available for a product like this. Four things on this site are checkable in a way a testimonial never is.
The formulation is published: isopropyl alcohol, methyl ethyl ketone, ethyl acetate, deionised water. Not a proprietary blend. You can check the flash points against a public database rather than taking our word for the safety guidance. In fairness, publishing a formulation is not unique to us; Bellami publishes a full INCI on its own release spray, and Big Kizzy Remover 1 is also oil-free.
The test method is published, including the parts that damage it. No laboratory, no peel adhesion testing, dwell time on a phone timer, residue assessed with a comb, nothing blinded, and the person testing developed one of the products. The author is named and licensed: Jaci Finch, cosmetologist in Utah, twenty-one years behind the chair, working alongside Tru Eastman with forty. That is a licence you can look up.
And the arithmetic is shown, including the parts that hurt. Twenty-five dollars over about thirty full-head removals is eighty-three cents a removal. Over four ounces it is $6.25 an ounce, roughly three times Big Kizzy's Remover 1 at about $2.12. Forty-five dollars over sixty tabs is seventy-five cents a tab against Bellami's twenty-five. We are the most expensive tab and the most expensive remover in this category and we print the figures that say so.
- The formulation, published in full: what is in the bottle.
- The method, including everything it cannot measure: how we test.
- The author, named and licensed: Jaci Finch, licensed cosmetologist.
- What we will and will not stand behind: our guarantee.
- The compatibility limits we publish against our own interest: does Vanity work with other brands.
How to check us without relying on us
None of that is worth much if the only way to verify it is to ask us. So here are two checks that do not depend on us at all.
Read the pages where we do not win. On our oil-based remover round-up, Big Kizzy Remover 2 is first and Vanity does not appear in the list, because we do not make an oil-based remover. On citrus removers, Walker Tape's C-22 is first and we are absent again. On single-sided extension tape, Big Kizzy's Extra Hold tab takes the top slot. Those pages earn us nothing.
Then read the sources list at the bottom of every ranked page. Each entry links to a competitor's own listing with the date we read it. Open a few. If a price or a specification we quote does not match what you find, that is a bug and we want the email. We have already rewritten pages here after research showed claims we had been making were false: we are not the only oil-free remover, not the only brand publishing a formulation, and not the cheapest oil-free remover. Those corrections cost us three of the strongest lines in our marketing.
| Page | Who we rank first | Where Vanity appears |
|---|---|---|
| Best oil-based tape removers | Big Kizzy Remover 2 | Nowhere. We do not make an oil-based remover |
| Best citrus tape removers | Walker Tape C-22 | Nowhere. We do not make a citrus solvent |
| Best single-sided extension tape | Big Kizzy Extra Hold single-sided tabs | Nowhere in the top slot |
Three pages that earn us nothing, kept because the categories are real and we do not compete in them. The full set is at our ranked guides, and the head-to-heads are at comparisons.
What will be true when we do have reviews
We will install a review platform, and when we do it will run on these terms. Verified buyer only, tied to an order. Unedited text. Negatives left up in the same list as the positives, with no filtering by score. A visible count and a visible denominator. And rating markup added only once there is a real corpus behind it, never before.
We will not incentivise reviews with discounts or free product, because a paid review is a solicited review with an extra problem. If that means the corpus grows slowly, it grows slowly. Until every one of those conditions is true, this page stays as it is: an empty reviews page that explains itself is more useful than a full one you cannot check.
How to leave the first one
If you have used the tabs or the remover we would like to hear about it, including and especially if it did not go well. Email info@vanityhairsolutions.com or use the contact page. Tell us what you were removing, how it went, and what you would change. We will ask permission before publishing anything, we will publish negatives, and we will not edit a review beyond removing anything that identifies a client.
The same address is the correction address, and that includes claims we make about other brands.

About the brands mentioned. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any other company named on this page, and we earn no commission on anything we link to. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Prices, specifications and formulations are those published by each manufacturer at the time of writing and change without notice — check the current listing before you buy. Where we rank a competitor above our own product we mean it, and where we rank ours first we say which criterion produced that result so you can reject it. Reviews and comparisons here reflect our own experience behind the chair plus published information; they are not laboratory tests unless a page says so explicitly. Nothing here is medical advice.
