How these rankings work
A round-up where the publisher always wins is not a ranking, it is an advertisement. So every page states the criterion it ranks on before the list, so you can reject it. Every product carries a stated limitation, ours included. And every page prints the numbers that argue against us — we are the most expensive tab and the most expensive remover in this category, and the cheaper competitor is named in the table, in its own entry and in the limitation line of ours.
On two categories we do not compete at all. We do not make an oil-based remover, a citrus solvent, a single-sided tape or any aftercare product, so those pages rank other people’s products and we earn nothing from any of them.
Rankings come from ten years of daily removals in our salon plus published manufacturer specifications, rechecked quarterly and dated on each page. Where a controlled test would be needed to settle a question, we say so rather than imply we have run one.
